Joanna Long
Partner
Joanna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Joanna focuses in the areas of estate and trust administration, guardianship, and real estate with an aim to bring a holistic approach to the practice of law to ensure her clients feel taken care of from start to finish. Joanna has volunteered her time with multiple Chicago legal aid organizations and today sits on the junior board for the Chicago Bar Foundation. Joanna is a dedicated legal advocate with a passion for the advancement of equal access to justice.

Stephanie Macuiba
Of Counsel
Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her Juris Doctor at Southern Illinois University School of Law.
While at law school, she was a law journal editor, research assistant, and a volunteer at the Immigration Detention Project. She is also the co-founder of a fellowship that sponsors law students for summer internships focused on human rights. Most importantly, she found her passion for estate planning while working at the Southern Illinois Elder Clinic. She now makes it her goal to make complex legal procedures understandable and has participated in several speaking engagements on the topic of the importance of estate planning. Stephanie spent several years practicing estate planning and probate in Southern California but is now happy to be back in her home state with her husband, daughter and dog Teddy.
Jessica R. Meyer
Of Counsel
Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and has been admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois since 2016. Throughout her career, she has garnered a reputation for her strategic approach to complex legal matters and her unwavering commitment to client advocacy.
Committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in the legal field, Jessica remains actively involved in professional organizations such as the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, where she contributes to the advancement of legal standards and best practices.
Outside of her legal practice, Jessica is deeply involved in the Chicago community, volunteering her time and expertise to various charitable organizations and pro bono initiatives.

Alejandra I. Vilchis
Of Counsel
Alejandra earned her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2014 and her Bachelor of Arts in Horticulture from University of Illinois Chicago. Alejandra focuses on adult disabled and minor guardianships at Long Law Group, but has extensive experience in family law and mediation as well.
She continues to enjoy plants and gardening in her own yard when she is not lawyering. Her most recent personal achievement is establishing a memorial scholarship at UIUC in her late brother’s name which will be endowed within three years. Alejandra is fluent in Spanish.
